Integrating 3E’s MSDS Management with Kelaroo’s Reagent Management System Simplifies MSDS Management and Reduces Costs for KRMS Users in Pharma and Biotech
Carlsbad, CA, February 1, 2011 — 3E Company, a leading provider of environmental health and safety (EH&S) compliance and information management services, and Kelaroo, a leading provider of proprietary software systems for the life sciences industry, today announced a strategic alliance and the release of 3E MSDS Management for Kelaroo’s Reagent Management System (KRMS).
Under the terms of the agreement, 3E Company and Kelaroo have teamed to integrate 3E Online™-MSDS with KRMS. The integrated solution enables KRMS users to automatically retrieve required Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDSs) for chemicals and reagents registered in the KRMS from 3E Company’s extensive database of up-to-date MSDSs.
With this integration, KRMS provides a constant connection to the customer’s 3E Online-MSDS platform. Essential details for existing and newly registered reagents in the KRMS system are communicated to a customer’s 3E Online platform via a dedicated and secure web service. Classification information, developed and carried out by 3E Company’s team of experts, is returned and stored automatically within the KRMS system for each reagent. The latest MSDS is available for each reagent and retrievable on demand via 3E Online-MSDS through a convenient live link within the KRMS application.
